Chinese New Year is important to every single Chinese. The celebration begins with the New Year eve. We will have reunion dinner to gather all the relative and form a big family gathering. Grandmother will cook chicken, duck, fish, pork etc. We can enjoy all the delicious dish and chit chatting with each others. After that we will eat Yu-Shang. We believe that Yu-Shang will bring another better year for us.
This year I have missed all the celebration. I did not go to my relative home visit, never greet my parents in the first day of Chinese new year etc. Because I was busy work for a big event. This event held in Genting Highland. It name ask Doraemon World 2012. I had spent 17 day for this event, so I had miss to celebrate my whole Chinese new year.
I had spent 2 day for the briefing. Brief about what I should do for my position. It was so tired after the briefing and set up. I get to know a lot new friends from different place. There are lot employee works together. We had been separate to few groups. I had been split to the entrance group.

This is just part of the photo we have. I do enjoy the 17 day with them. We work hard together to make the event success. Although it was Chinese New Year, we have to stay far with our family. But we stay together work together just like 1 family. Take good care of each others. I did enjoy my Chinese New Year with this group of member.
We did have our own reunion dinner by having steamboat. It was not a big celebration but we try to enjoy the small celebration.

I have the chance to see Doraemon room, Time Tunnel, Dining room etc. Normally we can just read it from comic or watch from TV. But now I have the chance to took photo and saw the real building.

Work as a promoter in the entrance, job is to promote what is inside the Doraemon World 2012. So, there are a lot interaction between me and customer. Some of the customer may request to help them took photo. Some of the customer may want to take photo with us. Here is some photo that I would like to share with.

When I was busy working at the entrance, sometime I may saw some familiar face. Some of the friend came to visit me. And some of them are actually feel surprise when they saw I work for Doraemon World Event.
After the busy time, we still have to stay and clear the stock. Whole Chinese New Year was busy working. Mom did come to find me and see how I am being here. Honestly it was so cold and I did get sick after few days being here.
7th February, finally we finish the whole event. Time to pack up and go home. There are so many things to carry. It was a good experience for me. First time never celebrate Chinese New Year with my family. Time pass so fast because of busy working. I wish that in the coming year everyone stay happy.
