KFC i-City Worker Fight With Customer

One of the hottest news on Facebook and Internet was the KFC I-City fight between the KFC staff and the customer. The 28 seconds video which first posted at Youtube has become well-known. Within few days, the KFC I-City fighting video spread on Internet and caused many discussions among people.

In 6^th of February 2012, KFC outlet located at I-City Shah Alam (Malaysia) have so many customers lining up waiting for the purchase, but there are just little chicken left. Hungry customers start to become impatient.

Case started when one Chinese customer, Danny Ng Chee Fei (24) who waiting for more than an hour to get his fried chicken. When comes to his turn, they inform him that there is no more fried chicken left. The Chinese customer become angry and requests the KFC management to apologize for this matter. However, The Malay staff starts to yell at him and shout at the customer by saying “Kalau mau makan, buat sendiri lah Babi.”

It wasn’t enough, the Chinese customer, Danny Ng, went back into the KFC with his mobile phone, and intended to take photo of the aggressive KFC staff. Then, the Malay staff got off the counter and started to punch the Chinese customer. Luckily the fright does not take long.

Those Malay staff told him to leave the KFC outlet quickly because the kitchen workers had called their friend to come over. Following the release of the video in the Internet, Danny Ng was soon approached by DAP officials.

This incident seems to have an international attention since the racial discrimination happens between Chinese and Malay people.
